The New Annual Summer School programme!

The Annual Summer School on
Monitoring and Evaluation of International Development Programmes will take place on

11 - 16 June 2012

at the Department of Economic Sciences, University of Bologna

The focus of the program will be on Utilization-Focused Methods, Developmental Evaluation and Outcome Mapping, three cutting-edge approaches on the frontier of monitoring and evaluation.
The course will take place in Bologna.

The application deadline is 30 April 2012.

Courses on Development Economics at the University of Bologna

Two courses on development economics are currently offered at the University of Bologna

An introductory 30-hour 5-credits course in Development economics is offered within the Laurea Triennale in Development and International Cooperation (first level under-graduate degree). A 60-hour 10-credits course in Advanced development economics is offered within the Laurea Magistrale in Development, International Cooperation and Human Rights.
Both courses are taught by Prof. Pier Giorgio Ardeni, CID President.

The Centre for International Development is a policy consulting and advisory organisation whose members are university professors, researchers, field experts and professionals.

CID was established in 2002 to provide training, international co-operation, technical assistance and policy analysis in developing and transition countries.
